Constant Comfort Club Member HVAC Maintenance Program

Routine maintenance is one of the most important things you can do to maintain a healthy, happy HVAC system. Investing to keep your system working properly far outweighs the costs associated with repairs or major system failures due to lack of maintenance.

Keeping your HVAC equipment well maintained will not only extend the life of the systems, but it will save you money on your electric bills.

The manufacturers of these systems state right in the installation manuals that maintenance is required to keep the machine running to manufacturer specifications.

We take pride is our AC and heating maintenance visits and ensure that all items on our checklist are verified and tested.

As a homeowner, there are some things that you can do on your own to help keep your hvac system running great.

 – Replace your air filters as needed. Usually every few months.

 – Keep dogs away from your AC unit is possible. Pet hair can clog up coils. Pet urine can destroy the outdoor coils.

 – Avoid setting your thermostat too low in the summer (78 degrees or higher is most efficient) OR to high in the winter (68 degrees or lower is most efficient)

 – Turn on your air conditioner at least once or twice in the winter months to circulate oil through the machine to lubricate bearings and internal parts.

– Turn your AC on earlier in the morning if a heat wave is due. This will help fight the heat early on. If you turn on your AC after the home is already 90 degrees inside, it may take several hours to reach the desired set point on the thermostat.

You should still have the more complex maintenance tasks performed by a professional. We are here to handle these more involved HVAC maintenance tasks on a twice per year basis.
  • AC tune ups are performed in the spring.
  • Heating tune ups are performed in the fall.
  • 2 visits per year for residential. 4 visits per year for commercial buildings.
  • Peace of mind, reliability, lower utility bills, more money in your pocket. It’s an investment worth making in your homes HVAC equipment.

  • Safety checks on gas furnaces to ensure there are no gas leaks or carbon monoxide present in the home or building.
